Patrick Russell - Miami Lawyer
Biographical:Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Patrick Russell, Esq., is a Miami Florida Attorney Lawyer who has been practicing law since 1994. Obtained undergraduate degree from Marquette University with a major in Political Science and a minor in History. After completing law school at the University of Miami, became general counsel for national check guarantee company. Established the company's first in-house legal department and oversaw all collection activities and litigation. Moved on to private practice in 1995 and established Russell Law in 1997. Since entering private practice, actively involved in (1) Florida business law matters including Florida Incorporation for business entities including for-profit corporations and limited liability companies, Florida business purchases and sales for the acquisition or transfer of existing businesses; (2) Florida contract law for Florida contract drafting as to new business deals or agreements and Florida contract review for legal advice concerning proposed contracts; (3) Florida Debt Collection for collection services and litigation involving monies owed or to secure payment on worthless checks or assisting in collection defense matters or post-judgment efforts to ensure judgment enforcement; (4) Florida Fraud law for scams and schemes involving misrepresentation or the wrongful and intentional taking of property as civil theft or securing relief and attempting to clear your credit in identity theft cases; (5) Florida Insurance law for insurance coverage or disputes involving Florida automobile insurance claims or review and enforcement of Florida business insurance policies or the appraisal process, mediation or litigation of Florida homeowner insurance claims; (6) Florida Personal Injury law for protecting your rights and securing payment for your medical bills and pain and suffering for Florida automobile accidents or holding store owners liable for slip and falls or other dangerous conditions that result in injuries by prosecuting Florida premises liability claims; and (7) Florida Real Estate law for claims, disputes and issues involving Florida Condominium Associations or to secure the return of the premises in a commercial or residential property for the nonpayment of rent or other tenant disputes by way of a Florida Eviction.

Legal Experience:Former general counsel for a multi-state corporation. Former Adjunct Professor at Florida International University for the paralegal program. Since 1995, full time private legal practice. Broad range of experience in many legal matters. Specific and prior legal experience in Florida appellate law, business law, business sales, business licensing, corporate law and incorporation, commercial law, contracts, debt collection, family law, fraud litigation, evictions, insurance claims, personal injury, probate and real estate transactions.
Practice Philosophy:To provide clients with prompt, personal and professional service. To keep the client fully informed as to the status of his or her case and to promptly respond to all client communications as quickly as possible. To place the client in the best position to succeed in their claim or defense. To educate clients on how the law affects their particular case so informed decisions can be made. Always looking for cost effective and common sense solutions to settle matters for clients. The overall goal is to resolve a case in the most efficient and affordable manner possible. There are no nickel and dime billing practices. Unlike most law firms, clients are not charged for copies, faxes, postage or legal research service fees.
